"Make us worthy, Lord, to help those who live in poverty, homelessness or hunger. Give them, through our hands this day, their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give Peace & Joy. Amen." ~ Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to helping all persons in need - regardless of creed, opinion, color, caste, or origin. Your support will help us continue in our mission to help the hungry, homeless, sick, disabled, elderly, and children.

Mission

To promote and perform works of charity through personal service.

"To become better - do a little good" -- Frederic Ozanam (1813-1853)

Vision

To make our world free from pain, suffering and poverty.

Values

Expressing our Christian values through - FAITH,  HOPE,  LOVE.

The Rule and the Spirit

Members are shaped, influenced and inspired by the Rule of the Society. The Rule was designed to provide a frame of reference and a spirituality that is recognized by the term "Vincentian". Conference members of the Society visit people who are in need. These appointments are called Home Visits. Home visits are the way Society members visit people in the privacy of their homes. Visits are only conducted with the consent of the person receiving the visit.

During the visit, the Society members complete a need assessment and provide such emergency assistance as required.

Home visitors are provided with resource materials and guidelines to assist them in treating each individual fairly, justly, and with dignity.
